Mechanical Industries Center partners with national associations: MCAA, SMACNA, and NCPWB, in order to have the latest information about the mechanical, sheet metal, and welding industries. Their knowledge and expertise in our trades helps our associations stay up-to-date on changes in the legislature landscape of our fields. These affiliations helps our associations better serve our contractors and the industry.
Mechanical Industries Center is a non-profit contractor association created by the Madison Area Mechanical and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (MSC) and the Madison Association of Plumbing Contractors (MAPC) to provide a competitive advantage for Union contractors.
National Affiliates
As an association representing unionized plumbing, sheet metal, and steamfitting contractors throughout Madison and surrounding counties, Madison Area Mechanical & Sheet Metal Contractors Association (MSC) and Madison Association of Plumbing Contractors (MAPC) encourages its member companies to embrace diversity and inclusion, and openly welcome all employees, applicants, and interested parties regardless of their race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, genetic information, marital status, arrest or conviction record, membership in the armed forces, or because they are an individual with a disability or a person 40 years old or older. Racism has no place in the construction industry and we stand united with those fighting to end discrimination.
