Union contractors hire and train qualified workers who all receive equal pay, exercise best safety practices, continuously training to further their knowledge of the industry, and consider themselves experts in their respective fields. MSC/MAPC/NCPWB members build, repair and remodel homes and commercial and industrial buildings. They believe in equal pay for men, women, and minorities in addition to insurance and retirement benefits. Our union contractors invest in their employees in order to give their customers completed projects on time, on budget, and with unmatched quality.
Mechanical Industries Center is a non-profit contractor association created by the Madison Area Mechanical and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (MSC) and the Madison Association of Plumbing Contractors (MAPC) to provide a competitive advantage for Union contractors.

As an association representing unionized plumbing, sheet metal, and steamfitting contractors throughout Madison and surrounding counties, Madison Area Mechanical & Sheet Metal Contractors Association (MSC) and Madison Association of Plumbing Contractors (MAPC) encourages its member companies to embrace diversity and inclusion, and openly welcome all employees, applicants, and interested parties regardless of their race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, genetic information, marital status, arrest or conviction record, membership in the armed forces, or because they are an individual with a disability or a person 40 years old or older. Racism has no place in the construction industry and we stand united with those fighting to end discrimination.
