MAPC members create, design, fabricate, install, service, and produce icon work in Madison, throughout Wisconsin, and across the Midwest. Their creations epitomize the latest products and designs to implement the most efficient technologies available to the plumbing industry.
Utilizing the technology of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, MAPC members can create intricate and unique designs. This software, combined with plumbing installation, also greatly reduces lost time and waste during all stages of the plumbing construction process.
Saving money with creative environmentally friendly and energy efficient solutions options keep customers returning to MAPC members. They identify energy saving alternatives and solutions to help customers better manage their utility spending and sustainability. Designing and creating environmentally friendly products that reduce water waste and create healthy living and work environments are a focus of MAPC Contractors.
- Solar Hot Water Heating System – This system uses the sun to heat the water in your home. A traditional hot water heater is powered by electricity or gas, while a solar system uses clean energy to heat water.
- Geothermal/Heat Pump Systems – A Heat Pump Water Heater uses electricity to move heat from one place to another instead of generating heat directly like a conventional hot water heater, which makes them two to three times more energy efficient. Homeowners and business owners who install a Geothermal Heat Pump to heat and cool their buidling by drawing heat from the ground during the winter and from the indoor air during the summer, can add a desuperheater to the system to heat up their water in their home or business as well. This device uses superheated gases from the heat pump’s compressor to heat the water and then circulates it through the pipes to the water heater tank.
- Filtration Systems – Reverse osmosis filters remove a larger percentage of contaminants from the water, including potentially dangerous bacteria. This system can provide clean, filtered water throughout your entire home or business for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and bathing.
Reusing water, such as rainwater, can greatly assist with infiltration along with reducing contaminants deposits, balancing flow volumes, and restoring water quality. MAPC members specialize in the installation of water reclamation systems across Wisconsin.
- Rainwater Reclamation – Installing a rainwater reclamation system at your home can assist during high peak flow volumes that the ground finds difficult to infiltrate. This also helps reduce contamination deposits in bodies of water due to storm water run-off. This reclaimed water can be used for irrigation, cleaning tools, mixing concrete, and flushing toilets.
- Wastewater Reclamation- This system converts municipal wastewater, sewage, or industrial wastewater into reusable water for a variety of purposes such as agriculture irrigation, environmental reuse, industrial reuse, and potable reuse.
- Treatment Plants – Wastewater throughout Wisconsin arrives at treatment plants to remove contaminants and clean the wastewater from homes, schools, businesses, and factories before it is released back into the environment.
Gas piping in your home or business provides a cost-effective and convenient way to fuel your home with natural gas. Systems that utilize gas piping and natural gas include gas stoves, dryers, furnaces and more. It is important to have your gas line inspected and leaks repaired. New gas lines can be installed as well for new appliances such as outdoor grills and kitchen ranges.
