Women of MSC/MAPC Raise Over $4,600 for Special Olympics Wisconsin
We are so proud of the eight women and one man who bravely plunged into the frigid waters of Lake Monona as the Women of MSC/MAPC raised over $4,600 for Special Olympics Wisconsin at the 2020 Polar Plunge on Saturday, February 15, 2020!
It was heartwarming to share the experience with such wonderful people, but also to see the support throughout MSC and MAPC with donations and words of encouragement! The days, hours, and minutes leading up to the plunge were nerve-racking, but when we stood on that platform and the countdown began, it was exhilarating!
For many of us, this was a personal challenge. We feel grateful for the opportunity to come together and support the amazing athletes of Special Olympics Wisconsin. We were lucky enough to share a bus ride with some of the Olympians and it was a nice reminder as to why we plunged! Those athletes were so thrilled to have participated in the plunge, and their smiles from ear-to-ear were infectious!
